When you return, your dentist removes the temporary veneers and checks the permanent set for fit. They’re cemented in place, and any minor alterations are made. 

Because a portion of your tooth tissue is removed during the dental veneer process, this cosmetic treatment is considered permanent. You can expect your new veneers to last 10-15 years or more with proper care, but they will eventually need to be replaced using the same steps outlined above.
